Printer
cartridge recycling programs are very easy and cost
effective fund raisers.
No money comes out of our
own pocket while we recycle something that others
generally throw away, and we get paid for it!
We don't even pay for shipping.
Practically
anyone can get involved and there is no selling of items
that people might never really want to buy except that
"Well, it's for a 'good cause....'" But it also spreads
the very positive message and action of recycling.
We are
currently using two different recycling programs for
printer cartridges.
See below for details of both programs.

We receive a lot of donations for cartridges that do not
have print heads. This includes Epson, Cannon BCI
and large cartridges from copiers and large scale office
printers.
After a lot of research on recycling programs to find the
best program to suit our needs (to recycle and
get paid), we found a program that pays well for
cartridges without print heads and who also happens to
have an exclusive relationship with Epson. Most
companies do not pay for Epson at all, but this one
does. This means we can now earn $$ for any
undamaged cartridge.
This organization also pays for cell phones and allows us
the option of earning either cash or points towards
classroom supplies and school equipment, as well as
providing access to a few other very cool fundraising
ideas. |

Some ideas to help make the
most of our baggies include:
Pass out the baggies in your neighborhood during
trick-or-treating!
Pass out baggies to friends and local businesses
you know
Mail them to family members who don't live here
(they can help too!)
Keep them
handy at home or the office
Come up with some
more ideas
and we'll add them to the list! |
